A new way to complete your inventory counting.
The iSAP Scanner Stocktake Inventory Counting scenario is an essential add-on for SAP Business One. The solution can play a key component in assisting in completing stocktakes as quickly and accurately as possible. With options to complete full warehouse audits or internal stock counts, the system can capture data on individual items, batches or even warehouse aisles.
Whether you complete weekly, monthly or quarterly stocktakes, the system assigns stock count requests to particular warehouse operatives or teams. Individuals or teams can use the system to scan products found in particular bins or within designated areas. The system provides product codes, descriptions, batch or serial numbers, and a product photo to avoid human error.
The system captures the items’ physical count and automatically records the number of scans completed and products included. The application will add a new line to the count if there are any issues.
Users can update the counting sheet in SAP Business One when the count has been completed. Line managers can then decide whether to add the data into SAP or complete another count. When data is pushed back into SAP Business One, the system automatically adjusts the master data.
iSAP Scanner Stocktake has a range of available validation processes alongside several reports to provide greater accuracy and transparency into inventory levels.
Besides traditional single-person counting,
iSAP Scanner Stocktake/ Inventory count module supports multi-person counting. It offers unique methods tailored for efficient location counting.
Method One:
Team Counting In this collaborative approach, stocktaking becomes a team effort. Assign two workers to the same location, empowering them to count together using separate scanners. With this dynamic duo, they efficiently split and conquer, merging their results at the end. This approach proves invaluable for locations housing mixed stock or unboxed items, allowing the team to navigate and complete the count efficiently.
Method Two:
Separate Counting Opt for verification within the team by assigning two workers to the same location. Each team member counts the stock independently, one after the other. The beauty lies in comparing results from both scanners, providing an extra layer of accuracy and validation to your inventory counting process.
These methods operate seamlessly per location, offering unparalleled flexibility. Imagine utilising both options simultaneously but in different locations. iSAP Scanner empowers you to adapt your counting strategy to the unique characteristics of each stock area, ensuring precision and efficiency in your inventory management.
